Foundry Equipment Auctions

We've worked with many foundry's to liquidate their equipment.

Foundry equipment at industrial equipment auctions include mix mullers, core blowers, melt furnaces, ladles, molding machines, knockout equipment, air hoists, gear boxes, shot blasts, mold lines, lab and test equipment, grinders, and dust collectors.

Metal castings are produced in a foundry and are cast into shapes by melting them into a liquid, pouring the metal in a mold, and removing the mold material or casting after the metal has solidified as it cools. Aluminum and cast iron are the most common metals processed; other metals such as steel, magnesium, copper, tin, and zinc are also used to make castings.

Many foundry companies have secondary machinery used to provide added value to their customers by doing portions of the finished work required for the part. This would include Wheelabrator finishing equipment, CNC machines and drilling and milling equipment.
